If you love your child and want the best for them but find that you don’t always
have the tools to do it as effectively as you would like; and if you are wondering
if the decisions that you are making right now will either positively or negatively
impact your child and your relationship with him or her now and in the future,
this series will be both enlightening and beneficial to you and your child.
Professor Johnson Fontaine will be offering a series of four seminars for parents,
teachers and caregivers. Each seminar will last approximately an hour and a
half and will incorporate the use of both lectures and interactive activities
designed to integrate information meaningfully. The seminars are designed to
allow the learner to move beyond simple surface level understandings of the
ideas and concepts being presented so that the participant can consciously and
authentically make their best parenting and caregiving decisions.
Professor Johnson Fontaine earned his degree from Columbia University, where
he became a conflict resolution mediator and did trainings with diplomats at the
United Nations. Currently Professor Fontaine is a sought out professor of
psychology and teaches at many different colleges and universities. Among
them are Southern Connecticut State University, Iona College, College of New
Rochelle, Norwalk and Housatonic Community College, and University of
Bridgeport. His excellence in teaching has led to his nomination for the
distinguished teaching award. He is also an executive and personal coach, two
roles which have led to his development of The Transformational Discovery
Process. The Transformational Discovery Process™ is based on the
assumption that any dedicated, and committed individual with the proper
guidance and the use of transformative techniques and methodology can be
coached to experience and celebrate a deeper authentic self.
Professor Fontaine is currently working on his book which includes his
autobiography and the transformational discovery process.
